SINCE 1962

The company history dates back to the father of the current owners, carpenters by profession, that changed from doors and windows to frames and the company has grown with the involvement of the children, to make a total of four co-owners. The original name ‘Antonion Moreno’ changed to ‘Antonio Moreno and Sons C.B.’ and with his retirement the current company was set up; ‘Bastidores Moreno López S.L.’, made up of the four brothers.

The main activity is the manufacturing of wooden frames for the Fine Arts (paintings), which are made with Soria pine, with dovetail joints, and a perfect finish and sanded down so as not to damage the canvas, which mean that the frames are used by the most sought-after painters and restorers of the most important works of art in the country.

Amongst our clients are the most representative companies and shops dedicated to the Fine Arts across Spain, providing our frames to the most representative painters of our country, in addition to diverse faculties of Fine Arts and museums, including the Prado and Reina Sofía galleries.

Our suppliers of the “Soria pine wood” come from the Pinares area: Duruelo de la Sierra (Soria), Regumiel de la Sierra (Burgos) and San Leonardo de Yagüe (Soria).
